Join us for our annual 5K Fun Run/Walk through the beautiful Smallwood State Park in Charles County, Maryland. This is a family-friendly event to be enjoyed by young and old. Strollers and dogs on leashes are permitted. The course is mainly paved surfaces and will include a footbridge crossing the wetlands. In the spirit of Halloween we will have a costume contest, scavenger hunt for pumpkins, and $100 cash prizes for first place male and female runners. Music and food will be provided. 100% of the profits go to support Mattawoman Creek Art Center (a 501C3 non-profit) and the beautiful exhibits and community programs they provide. Rain date is November 1st.
