Welcome to the 6th Annual Rouse Rally Tennis and Pickleball Tournament! It will be held on August 8, 2026, INDOORS at the University of Mary Washington Tennis Center at 1200 Hanover Rd in Fredericksburg, VA. So get out of the August heat and come play in the air conditioning! It's affordable ($25/person) and for a great cause - all proceeds go to local charities. 

Tennis will start at 9:00am. Pickleball will start at 1:00pm. 

Tennis

Welcome to the Rouse Rally 2026 - Tennis Tournament.

The tennis portion of the Rouse Rally will begin at 9:00am at the UMW tennis center indoor courts (UTC).

If we go past 1:00pm the tournament will move to the outdoor courts.

The format for each match will be 1 set to 8 with a tiebreak at 7 games all. Regular ad scoring.

The tournament will be knockout style with each team guaranteed 2 matches.

The divisions we are offering are as follows:

Men's Doubles - 8.0+

Men's Doubles - 7.5-

Women's Doubles - 6.5+

Women's Doubles - 6.0-

Mixed Doubles - Open

You may only sign up for 1 division to prevent match scheduling issues.

Pickleball

We will be offering the following Divisions: 

- Women’s Doubles 

- Men’s Doubles 

- Mixed Doubles 

- Singles 

If you choose to play in 2 different Divisions, we will do our best with scheduling. If we can't make it work, you will have to choose which Division you will play in. You could definitely play in both Tennis and Pickleball since Tennis is in the morning and Pickleball is in the afternoon.

Brackets will be divided by Skill Level, and by Age if there are enough teams in a given bracket. Skill levels will be as follows: 

- 2.0-2.9 

- 3.0-3.4 

- 3.5-4.0 

- 4.0+ 

Format will be Round Robin with top finishers earning medals. Matches will NOT be entered into DUPR. 

If you want to play but do not have a partner, register and list "Looking for a Partner" as your Partner's Name. We will attempt to link you to another player looking for a partner.
