Will you take up the bow and try your hand at the sport of archery? These programs are designed as introductory lessons for first time participants. Our archery instructors will show you the basics of archery including finding your draw length, proper safety and shooting techniques, and more! All equipment is provided. The age requirement is 10+ years old. This 1.5 hour program is limited to 6 participants. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required for this program. You can register and pre-pay by calling the Visitor Center at (540)288-1400 and paying over the phone, or coming in person prior to the day of the program. There is no online registration option for this program. This program is $15/participant and includes all essential equipment. Participants must use park provided bows and arrows. Parking fees are separate and are not included in program payment. Parents and guardians must remain with their children under 18 years old throughout the duration of the program. On the date of the program, you must check in at the front desk inside the Visitor's Center. Make sure to wear weather appropriate clothing, closed-toed shoes, and water to stay hydrated.
