For years, Faith Baptist Church has planted 3,000 American flags on our front lawn the week before September 11 - one for every life lost that day. Last year, something happened that changed the event: neighbors who weren't members of our church stopped by and asked if they could plant a flag for a loved one killed on 9/11. We said yes. This year, we're saying yes to the whole community.
