Spring brings about lots of change in our natural world. The weather turns warmer, the trees and flowers bloom, and spring means new life for many of our species. Homeschoolers this month will learn about the life cycles of many different types of organisms. From birds nesting in the trees, to our frogs laying eggs in the water, there are plenty of changes happening this time of year. There is no homeschool program on Wednesday, March 11th. *Note: The same program is offered twice a week, on Monday morning and Wednesday afternoon. Mondays, 11AM-12PM 3/2: Bird Life Cycles 3/9: Beaded Animal Craft 3/16: Plant Life Cycle 3/23: Vernal Pools 3/30: Insect Life Cycles Wednesdays, 1PM-2PM 3/4: Bird Life Cycles 3/18: Plant Life Cycle 3/25: Vernal Pools 4/1: Insect Life Cycles Participants will meet inside of the Visitor Center prior to the program starting. Please make sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. Hikes and other outdoor activities should be anticipated for any of these programs. In case in inclement weather, please check this page prior to coming to the park. Cancellations will be posted by close of business the day before the program.
