Winter is a time when everything seems to slow down, but nature never truly stays still. As autumn turns to winter, homeschoolers will learn about the changes that happen to our plants and animals that help them survive the cold winter months. From our trees losing their leaves, to animals gaining a winter coat, nature adapts and changes in many different ways. *Note: The same program is offered twice a week, on Monday morning and Wednesday afternoon. Mondays, 11AM-12PM 12/1 : Conifer vs. Deciduous Trees 12/8 : Winter Tree ID 12/15 : Fur n' Feathers Wednesdays, 1PM-2PM 12/3 : Conifer vs. Deciduous Trees 12/10 : Winter Tree ID 12/17 : Fur n' Feathers As the days are getting shorter and the weather becomes cooler, make sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
