Enjoy a magnificent sunset on the tranquil Potomac River and listen for nocturnal creatures. We'll meet inside the visitor center to gear up before riding to the beach for an evening paddle. Participants should be prepared to help load and unload kayaks at the shoreline, and wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can get wet. Paid reservations are required as space is limited. Paddlers must be age 16+ for a solo kayak and age 8+ (with adult) for tandem kayak. Call 540-663-3861 or stop by the Visitor Center to reserve your spot. Parking fee is $5.
